Great River Energy’s Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) provides a comprehensive view of our resource plans for the next 15 years. The plan represents our intent to reliably meet our members’ energy needs in a cost-effective and environmentally responsible manner

Great River Energy filed an IRP update on March 31, 2023, with the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission outlining the cooperative’s future power supply portfolio changes.

Great River Energy projects that it will not need to add power supply resources that emit carbon dioxide during the 15-year planning period covered by the integrated resource plan.
